Greetings from the Group Knights Marshal,

As will be posted in the Curia minutes from last night's
meeting, we will be moving the scheduled weekly fighter
practices (both Armored and Rapier) from Monday evenings to
Sunday afternoons. With the evening light getting shorter
and shorter at this time of the year, it is time to move the
practices so that we have enough light to see what we are
doing. They will be held at the same place, Silver Lake
Park, at 1230 PM. That should give us plenty of time to get
armor or kit on and still leave time to see what we are
doing.

These practices will begin being held on Sunday afternoons
in September. the 7th of September will be our first sunday
afternoon practice. We will continue on Sunday afternoons
until such time as the weather wins out and we are unable to
practice outdoors any longer. At this time we do not have
an indoor site for winter practices. The site we used this
past winter will not be available this coming winter, so
that means that winter practices will be put on hold for
full armor/rapier practices, unless an indoor site can be
found.
